Crown Prince Haakon visited the company Elcare in Kongsvinger, one of the Nordic region's largest workshop companies working to extend the lifetime of electronics. The Crown Prince even tried repairing electronics himself.
Crown Prince Haakon visited the company Elcare in Kongsvinger on March 9, one of the Nordic region's largest workshop companies working to extend the lifetime of electronic products.

Elcare has around 80 employees who together process approximately 750 products daily, equivalent to around 275,000 products per year. The company plays an important role in sustainability and the circular economy by repairing and giving new life to electronics that might otherwise be discarded.

During the visit, the Crown Prince tried his hand at repairing electronics himself, and he was shown how the employees work to extend the lifespan of products. The visit highlights the royal commitment to sustainable development and Norwegian industry.
