King Harald has responded well to treatment and recovered quickly. He was discharged from hospital on Thursday, February 26, the Palace announced in a press release.

The Royal Couple will continue their private stay in Tenerife. No decision has yet been made regarding when they will return home. The King's physician will remain in Tenerife for a few days to monitor the situation.
The Palace has announced that a further update will be provided on Monday, March 2, or sooner if there is any change in the King's health.
