Crown Prince Regent Received EU Council President in Audience at the Palace

Crown Prince Regent Haakon received the President of the European Council, António Costa, in audience at the Royal Palace in Oslo on Wednesday.

King Harald is currently on a private trip abroad, and Crown Prince Haakon is therefore serving as regent.

The European Council is the EU's supreme political body, where heads of state and government from the member states meet to set the union's overall direction and priorities.
